Right. I just got the 2.1.3 update via auto software update, and it 'killed' my Aperture. App Zapper, I guess, then a re-install.

Yeah the 2.1.2 serial still works with 2.1.3 here. (I updated via Software Update).

even though when downloaded it says trial version, will this actually expire in 30 days?

if it's telling you that it is in trail mode you've used a trial key and hence it WILL expire in 30 days!

I've used the two keys provided in the RTF and one of them works in 2.1.2 but fails for me after update to 2.1.3. The other one is a trial key.

HOWEVER, I've now used the key mentioned in the comments:
E-325-DJR-243-BDJ-316-XVX-435-OCN-FJ7-Z2RX
(thanks Necrach) and it's working even after the update!

This Aperture 2 version is 2.1.2 and it works beautifully! The serial included also works great.

Err, I wonder if its alrite to let software updater update this program? Well, actually this question is a general one on other programs like for example Final Cut Pro. So, usually I do not allow the s.updater update my cracked software, which is half of my apps, really. If anyone knows the answer to my dilemma then cast light on this affair for me and others like me. Also does anyone know if it's safe to order print books of it even though it's cracked, i mean, they won't really check the legitimation of my app. at Apple's or Kodak's printing centre, will they?

This is 2.1.2... maybe he/she was using a numeric keypad & typed 5 instead of 2.... 5 is directly above 2!!!

WOW! Super software...I really love iLife..Super software...very easy to use...beats anything on Windows for the average user...built a super nice website in like 30 minutes. I'm running Mac OS X Snow from a Quad Core PC...The Mac is way easier and intuitive than I ever thought. I'm thinking of buying a Mac Pro...Because I can run Windows 7 natively with 8 cores using BootCamp. Compare the cost of a MacPro with the cost of a high end Alienware and its a wash.
